面料是一缸一缸染色的，一個缸總會有大有小的，所以一個缸能染色的面料都是有限的，有時候客戶量比較大，一來就是千百米，那么面料勢必會分成幾缸來染色。同樣的配方，同樣的操作手法，不是同一缸染出來的就會有缸差，因為染色的影響因素實在是太多，并且完全無法避免，可能多幾秒鐘，顏色就深了。這也是工作服定做有色差的主要原因。
